We've all been there, eyeing that girl who always looks great at the gym in the latest fitness gear. Her collection of leggings seems neverending! Whilst you don't need to go all-out and blow your budget on a fitness wardrobe, the right leggings will not only make you look good and feel great, they'll also help you to be more flexible - super-stretchy lycra is perfect for a whole range of activities, from running to yoga. We can never get enough of the latest fitness gear trends, so we've rounded up 10 pairs of funky leggings to add some colour and fun to your workout - pick up a pair (or two) today!

#1. Fabletics Salar Capri Leggings

We're huge fans of Kate Hudson's Fabletics range, even if you do have to sign up for membership to get the best deals. Add a pop of colour to your treadmill training with these Salar Capri leggings, made with 12% spandex for a super-comfortable, stretchy fit. These would be ideal for pilates too and they come in emerald stripe or pink stripe. Team with the co-ordinating Aventura tank (or any tank top or vest) and you've got yourself a great gym outfit!

#2. Ellesse Klee Printed Capri Leggings

This cool geometric print is a bit more exciting than those boring black leggings you've been wearing to your spin class. With a comfortable elasticated waist and mesh inserts to the back of the knees (to help you keep your cool), these leggings are awesome, and they're only £19 if you buy them right now!

#3. Fabletics Sydney Capri Leggings

These fab compression capri leggings from Fabletics are constructed from moisture-wicking fabric, which helps keep you dry even during HIIT sessions! With 12% spandex and four-way stretch, we think you'd be hard-pushed to find a comfier pair of leggings. Plus they come in a wide choice of patterns and colours - our favourite is the Black/Black Tie Dye print, but you can mix and match to create a more colourful workout outfit if you like!

#4. Nike Pro N+ TC Tour Stockholm Leggings

Nike's new range of pro training tights are pretty fun - they're all about colourful graphic prints combined with the high performance you'd expect from Nike. Whilst these will set you back a cool £90 if you buy direct from the Nike website and they're not available to buy yet, you could pick up a bargain if you wait a few months. These are definitely added to our running wishlist!

#5. Nike Epic Run Printed Women's Training Leggings

Love your morning run but want something a bit more inspirational to wear than your usual old leggings or training tights? With their signature Dri-FIT fabric and flat seams, these make even the longest runs that bit more comfortable. So if you're putting in some serious marathon training, you might want to splash out £50 or so on these black/grey mist graphic print leggings!

#6. UnderArmour StudioLux Artsy Leggings

Available in black (our favourite) or Thai Teal, these leggings feature an ombre effect that makes them stand out in the crowd. That's not the only reason to purchase them though - the fabric is incredibly soft yet delivers great support, with sweat-wicking capabilities and four-way stretch for total comfort. The signature 'strut gusset' moves with you, so it will never look too tight, whilst the wide, flat waistband sits comfortably on your hips and doesn't dig in. Wear these to yoga? We totally would.

#7. UnderArmour Heatgear Armour Printed Leggings

Your legs will definitely stand out when you're training in these patterned leggings, which come in black or faded ink colouways. Made from a polyester/elastane blend, the lightweight HeatGear construction keeps you warm when it's cold outside without feeling heavy. We love these leggings!

#8. USA Pro Tight Pants

For leggings that are definitely not your average, boring black pair, we recommend checking out USA Pro's new range. There are loads of colours and prints available, so you can match your leggings to your personality, or your workout mood! We love their deep purple leggings with Aztec patterned waistband - great if you're wearing a crop top or sports bra. Their Grafitti leggings are pretty cool too - take a look for yourself as they start from around £15!

#9. Reebok Urban Active Leggings

These leggings from Reebok come in three colours - citrus glow (pictured), black or faux indigo and come with a zipped side pocket, perfect for stashing your iPod or some small change when out running. Form fitting and super-stretchy, the block coloured side panels help shape your silhouette so you look as great as you feel - our ultimate workout leggings and they cost around £27!

#10. Reebok One Series Elite Tight

We're huge fans of graphic prints, and Reebok One Series Elite Tights feature a bold graphic print in two colours - Lush Orchid or Crystal Blue. These leggings are ideal for high-impact workouts, so pop them on for your lunchtime run or treadmill workout. With PlayDry technology, they wick moisture away from the skin, leaving you feeling fresh and cool, even when it's hot outside! Mesh side and knee panels help air to circulate whilst an antimicorbial gusset means these leggings are hygienic as well as good looking. Snap them up for £40 on the Reebok site.
