Well-being

It is very important that we have a good mental and physical well-being. People think that the two are separate but in fact both need to work together. What you do with your body can have a powerful effect on your mind. For instance Are you Suffering from SAD this Winter? Try doing some exercise as this is known to boost your mood and help keep you balanced, or how about joining in with a Pilates or Yoga class? 

Mental well-being means feeling good – both about yourself and about the world around you. It means being able to get on with life in the way that you want. How does your job effect your happiness? This can have a major effect on you. It is important to feel healthy, comfortable and happy to help us achieve our goals in life. If something is having a negative effect on your well-being let's do something about it. Why don't you get gardening to boost your happiness and general well-being? Gardening is great for getting some exercise and for calming the mind. 

Physical activity causes chemicals in our brain which can help positively change our mood. It is said endorphins are the key to happiness so lets get active today!
